New Records for Fall 2012

New Distro for Fall 2012

Pick up records at the shows listed at the bottom of this post or email godnotgodrecords@gmail.com for local pickup or mail order.

BASTARD NOISE - The Progression of Sickness 10" (Deep Six)
"Boasting a new lineup, Bastard Noise continue to pummel the senses with these two tracks of noisy, chaotic and experimental hardcore that features no guitars, but add keys, electronic programming and synths to the bass-heavy sound that trudges through the off-tempo fourteen minutes of the record. Need we mention that members were also in Man Is The Bastard and Neanderthal?" -RevHQ

NAILBITER - The Bait LP (La Vida Es Un Mus)
"The Bait is their new recording , a seven track 12" including a rendition of ANTI-CIMEX's Sister Daylight. It was recorded in Belgium during August of 2011 at the end of one of their European escapades and mixed and mastered at various locations in UK during the following 12 months. Lyrically and musically Nailbiter are often compared to PAINTBOX, DEATH SIDE and late era ANTI-CIMEX. They paint bleak visions of day to day existence in this miserable world. Housed in a beautiful jacket designed by the guitarist Carlos Hiroshima The Bait is a record for people who know there is not a better world and live for the now." -La Vida Es Un Mus

ILEGAL - Callejon Sin Salida 7" (Lengua Armada)
Third record from this Canadian band, and what a monstrous disc it is. If you are familiar with previous output by ILEGAL, expect no less. Three tracks of chaotic drumming, insane guitar riffs and vocals desperately spat out. ILEGAL bring us much more than a sound, they evoke a spirit and attitude that pops off the groves of this ep. If you have not heard of this band by now, it is time to get your head out of your ass. PUNK–AS-FUCK! 500 pressed." -Deranged

ILEGAL - El Aire Libre Fuera De... LP (La Vida Es Un Mus)

"After a handful of really exception singles, here's the debut LP from Canada's Ilegal. Throughout those singles
the band has shown quite a wide range of capabilities within the framework of raw, intense hardcore, and this LP continues that progression. They vary the pace quite well, include catchier passages (though not in a cheesy or poppy way at all, more in a way that recalls classic Spanish punk), and generally do all of the things you need to do to make a really great hardcore 12". That includes putting together some absolutely phenomenal packaging, including a gorgeous fold-out, three-panel LP jacket with beautiful, intricate artwork by Eugene from Crazy Spirit. Absolutely 100% essential." -Sorry State

HOAX - 3rd 7" (Painkiller)
Little needs to be said about this hardcore power unit from Western Mass. You have more than likely heard their first seven inch released on Katorga Works that features the ripper "Fagget," as well as their second seven inch released on Youth Attack which was equally as violent, fast and undeniably one of the tightest hardcore records released in the last year. While Hoax has set the bar high for themselves, the third seven inch does not fail to keep up. Here is what Painkiller has said about their release of this record:

"HOAX prove again on their 3rd 7" E.P. why they are one of the last  bastions of true hardcore spite and genuine danger. Mosh-heavy songs of empowerment and anger are forged using a degraded distillation of  vintage Alan Blake style riffing backed with driving, militaristic drums, and the feral anomie typically reserved for a vocalist like Mike IX Williams. Discipline comes from within. Comes in a matchbook style fold-out sleeve with 12 panel poster insert"
